About Leah
Leah W. Hunter MAMFT, CLC, SPS, CCW
Leah Hunter is a native of Atlanta, GA, and made her way to Mississippi to study Marriage and Family Therapy at Reformed Theological Seminary. After graduation, Leah worked in higher education and community mental health while focusing on whole-person wellness, crisis response, family counseling, and women’s issues.
Leah’s passion is women’s wellness. Through her journey with chronic illness, infertility, motherhood, and trauma, she has seen how deeply women are negatively impacted by carrying this trauma alone.
Leah’s work with her clients is simple- return them to themselves. She believes self-trust is the single most important aspect of holistic wellness and works with clients to heal in a way that returns them to who they were created to be powerful, capable, resilient women.
Leah is a Certified Professional Life Coach and Certified Crisis Worker. She has her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has additional qualifications and certifications in trauma, crisis response, suicide prevention, and marriage and family.
Leah and her husband, Roe Hunter LPC, love to work together to bring couples and families through their own trauma journeys. They see couples individually, and together, and are also available for intensive marriage workshops.
